GRADUATE COURSES

≪Letters ≫
We pursue study on the topic of "the exploration of universal, humanity-based value, under the premise of cultural pluralism." We believe that the clashes of civilization currently occurring indicate the need for various regions in the world to review "culture". In this graduate school, we aim to educate global citizens with the ability to act, equipped with both practical knowledge and deep understanding of the cultures of regions around the globe in this new age of internationalism.

≪Sociology≫
Among rapid social changes, the expectations towards "sociology," which studies modern society itself, are inevitably increasing. In sociology, we comprehensively and inclusively analyze complex social phenomena to decipher our complicated modern society. This graduate school approaches the issues of modern society, as they become more advanced and more complex, using both theoretical and practical approaches.

≪Economis≫
The average income in Japan has fallen behind other Asia countries, and deteriorating company profits and a falling birth rate have expanded the generational gap between young adults and the middle-aged. However, the rapidly-growing Asia countries also face unique economic problems. In this graduate school, we nurture the capacity to theoretically and empirically understand the economic issues that mutually affect one another like in Asia and Japan, or global economies and Asia.

≪Business Administration≫
Asia is achieving remarkable development as the growth center of the world, and many corporations in Osaka or Kansai are globally active in the Pacific Rim, which includes Asia. This graduate school nurtures sharply analytical researchers and advanced professionals with the advanced knowledge and skills for contributing to the development of Kansai, Japan, and the Pacific Rim.
