Career Support
Career support for international students begins in the first year.

Career guidance for international students
You will acquire knowledge about job hunting for Japanese companies in Japan or in your home country.

“One-on-one" support by staff at the Career Center
We work closely with students to support their self-realization by comparing the company's philosophy, employment conditions, etc., with each student's career aspirations and aptitudes.

Support for Community Volunteer Activities
The program introduces volunteer interpreters and translators to foreigners in disaster areas hit by earthquakes and other large-scale disasters, as well as support activities for foreign students studying at elementary and junior high schools in the university‘s vicinity and their parents. Pre-training is also provided, enabling students to acquire problem-solving and communication skills through community-based activities.

Internships, joint company information sessions for international students, etc.
Some international students have obtained job offers by doing internships from their first year and participating in joint company information sessions for international students.
Supports for International Students

Taking "Classes in English”
For those who are concerned about taking courses in Japanese from the first year, they can take courses offered in English while learning Japanese in the first year and developing their Japanese language skills.

Academic advisor
Each undergraduate student is assigned a teacher. International students are often new to undergraduate study and often have problems with their study plans. This system allows students to consult with their assigned teacher and receive advice at such times.

Learning Support Center
The Learning Support Center assists students with basic skills for university study, such as note-taking, report writing and presentation.

Buddy program
To ensure that the daily life of international students goes smoothly, we provide daily support in small groups of one to several Japanese students for each international student.
Students can make close friends with Japanese
students by spending time together during lunch breaks and free time.
